A DNA member company presenting during a network session

The DNA Standard

The standard behind a DNA introduction.

DNA members are selected for more than commercial success. Expertise, reputation, integrity, responsible data use, professional conduct and contribution all form part of membership.

Why it matters

Finding the right companies to work with isn't easy. And knowing which ones are credible is even harder.

DNA has already done much of that work.

Members are assessed before joining and expected to continue meeting the standards associated with the network.

DNA membership provides an additional signal of quality. It does not replace your own procurement or due diligence.

The principles

Eight principles behind the network.

  1. 01

    Act with integrity

Operate honestly, represent capabilities accurately and take responsibility for decisions.

  2. 02

    Treat data responsibly

Take privacy, security, provenance, compliance and appropriate use seriously.

  3. 03

    Know your field

Bring genuine expertise in your market, discipline, technology, data or specialist area.

  4. 04

    Stay current

Keep up with technology, regulation, emerging risks, data sources and better ways of working.

  5. 05

    Share what you know

Exchange useful experience and market intelligence with other members.

  6. 06

    Make the network useful

Answer the question. Make the introduction. Bring in another member when they can improve the outcome.

  7. 07

    Bring something distinctive

Contribute expertise, technology, data, market knowledge, experience or relationships.

  8. 08

    Protect the trust

Conduct business in a way that protects confidence in both your company and the wider network.

Ongoing standard

Membership is maintained, not simply awarded.

The standards continue after a business joins DNA.

Where conduct materially conflicts with them, membership can be reconsidered.
